The 42-year-old Pujols connected for his second home run of the game, a three-run drive against Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Phil Bickford in the fourth inning. Lightning strikes are common during India’s monsoon season, which runs from June to September. Experts say climate change and global warming have increased the frequency of lightning.

With the bravado and timing that the Cardinals have come to expect from one of the best to ever play the game, Albert Pujols made history – and sparked the present.
